Styled in a natural wood finish, the Yamaha SBS1455 is a snare drum that's part of their Stage Custom Birch series. It measures 14 x 5.5", and has been constructed out of birch to ensure a welcome, accurate resonance when you beat it with your sticks. The snare wires themselves are comprised of 20 high-carbon strands, and the snare bed is measures 1.8mm, which is standard. The SBS1455 comes with a Remo UT coated head on the top, a Remo UT clear head on the bottom, and a steel, triple-flange hoop design.

Birch Shell
The Stage Custom utilizes a 100% birch construction. With its six-ply structure, this snare accurately conveys the vibrations produced at the impact surface.
Triple-Flange Steel Hoop
This hoop can be used in all situations to secure an open sound.
